PayCard Tech CEO, Michael Salvato had the opportunity to present to The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) students who were enrolled in various levels of sales courses. He gave the students insight into how he transitioned into payment technology, as well as offering insight into the challenges of entrepreneurship and the importance of learning to sell in any career. He gave an overview of PayCard Tech’s internship program that is currently accepting Phi Sigma Epsilon members who wish to gain industry experience and business knowledge.
Salvato worked directly with Dr. Inyang (Professor and PSE Advisor) who assigned six interns from his Professional Selling courses offered through the studies of Marketing. Interns were given on-the-job sales training to learn the complete sales cycle as they worked beside Mr. Salvato.
Several of the interns were quite successful and had established careers waiting for them post-graduation while one intern, Joe Sanchez won third place in the Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon. TCNJ’s Pi Sigma Epsilon wins at National Sales & Marketing fraternity convention
PayCard Tech is looking forward to continued PSE involvement as well as with other local colleges to support rising entrepreneurs in addition to it’s continued support of local and national charities.
